Guinness’s Christmas ad turns a pint into a holiday snow globe
The brewer, in partnership with the integrated marketing agency Taylor, delivers a pint-sized celebration of the most wonderful time of the year.
This Christmas, Guinness US is spreading holiday cheer with a fresh twist on a classic tune.
The Diageo-owned brand’s new 16-second TV spot, ‘The Most Wonderful Pint of the Year,’ transforms a lyric from the beloved jingle, ‘It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,’ into a celebration of its signature stout.
The ad begins with a quintessential winter wonderland: a grand mansion nestled between two snow-laden trees. As the scene blurs, it transforms into the frothy top of a perfectly poured pint, set in a cozy pub decked with garlands and Christmas lights. It’s like a snow globe – just a little boozier.

Though the original song isn’t played, the ad concludes with the phrase “The Most Wonderful Pint of the Year.”
“We wanted to create something simple and magical that makes a pint of Guinness feel like coming home for the holidays,” said Joyce He, Guinness brand director. “So here’s to enjoying the most wonderful time of the year at our favorite pubs, bars, and restaurants.”

Developed by Taylor, an integrated marketing agency, the campaign launches Sunday, December 1, and will air on TV throughout December. For those who miss it, the spot will also be shared on Guinness US’s social channels.
