Wildfire tackles B2B marketing’s ‘boring’ reputation and encourages industry to get more creative.

The PR agency Wildfire has created a children’s bedtime fairytale, telling the story of an ambitious marketer looking to wake up the sleepy town of B2B marketing.

The story follows a B2B marketer as he journeys through a ‘Blog Bog’ over ‘Whitepaper Mountain’ and across the ‘Great Wall of Webinars,’ searching for creativity.

Wildfire has collaborated with a children’s illustrator and an Audible narrator on the campaign, with options to read the story, listen along or watch a YouTube animation.

Inspired by in-house research that 75% of B2B marketers admit that their campaigns are ‘essentially the same’ as their competitors and that 48% of B2B customers are ‘bored’ by the campaigns they see, Wildfire wanted to encourage the industry to get more creative.

To promote the campaign, selected B2B marketers were sent a copy of the story as a book along with a sleep mask and other bedtime-themed gifts.
