Progressive races on to Las Vegas Sphere with a crash course in safety
As Vegas buzzes with excitement ahead of the Grand Prix, the insurance brand takes over The Sphere, showcasing its iconic spokescharacters and debuting a cutting-edge safety feature.
As part of the lead-up to Las Vegas Grand Prix this month, Progressive Insurance has brought to life Flo, Jamie and the brand’s ‘Superstore’ crew to life on the world’s largest LED screen: The Sphere.
The campaign animates the characters racing around the 580,000-square-foot screen. The vibrant display, visible from miles away, highlights the brand’s ongoing commitment to blending entertainment and innovation in its marketing.
In addition to entertaining spectators, the campaign introduces Progressive’s newest feature, ‘Accident Response.’ The technology uses a driver’s smartphone to detect major accidents. Through the Progressive app, it can immediately provide towing or emergency services and automatically start begin the claims process.

With its approximately 1.2m LED pucks capable of displaying 256m colors, The Sphere has become a marquee platform for brands to captivate audiences. With this new campaign, Progressive joins an elite group of advertisers, including Formula 1 and Disney, that have utilized the Sphere’s digital canvas.
This latest effort is another example of how Progressive’s characters have permeated popular culture. From Dr Rick’s hilarious “parenta-life coach” lessons to Flo and Jamie walking the pink carpet at the Barbie premiere, the brand continues to find unexpected ways to engage fans.
The campaign brought together a powerhouse team, with creative agency ninety6 leading the charge, Monks handling production and Allison Worldwide amplifying its reach as the PR partner.
