Germany’s ClimaClic GmbH is a climate-related lottery company that not only offers customers the chance to win €2 million but also let’s them dictate which environmental programs their purchase will support
In an effort to increase engagement and build loyalty with interested customers, ClimaClic tasked its marketing agency, BurdaDirect, to create an easy-to-manage system of personalized emails that would encourage transactions. That system needed to both understand which climate projects users were most interested in supporting, as well as comply with Germany’s business rules for lotteries
They turned to Selligent by Marigold as the solution. Selligent was able to reimagine what their email marketing campaigns could accomplish, focusing on hyper-personalized user journeys based on interests and preferences.
Leveraging Selligent’s technology and team of experienced engineers, ClimaClic and BurdaDirect built more than 50 unique customer journeys that generate personalized outreach to customers that match new climat projects with the climate initiatives they’ve expressed interest in.
The system is fully automated, with data collected flowing immediately into the Selligent Marketing Cloud.
Thanks to Selligent’s involvement, the entire project was completed and implemented in less than eight weeks, significantly reducing the workload of ClimaClic’s small team.
