Touchdown savings: Snoop Dogg & Patrick Mahomes call the plays on T-Mobile’s holiday deals
The rap legend and NFL star join forces for T-Mobile’s holiday promos, featuring the Apple Intelligence-powered iPhone 16.
T-Mobile is ushering in the holiday season with a lively new campaign featuring the high-profile duo of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and iconic rapper-turned-entrepreneur Snoop Dogg.
Created in collaboration with Santa Monica-based creative agency Panay Films, ‘Mahomes & Snoop Say Hello to iPhone 16 On US’ is designed to promote T-Mobile’s offer of a free iPhone 16 with an eligible trade-in. It began airing across major networks on Thursday.
The 30-second spot kicks off with Snoop in the role of a sports commentator, narrating Mahomes’s “big play” as he enters a bustling T-Mobile store to secure the iPhone 16 – the first smartphone built with Apple Intelligence. In classic Snoop fashion, he describes Mahomes’s choice with a line that captures the humor of the ad: “That’s like peanut butter on jelly on gold.”

This latest ad follows another recent campaign featuring Mahomes and Snoop, where the duo celebrated T-Mobile’s Apple lineup. The work also taps into a younger audience with the inclusion of popular streamer and YouTuber Kai Cenat.
Mahomes has now partnered with T-Mobile for two years, with this marking his third ad for the brand, while Snoop has been a familiar face for T-Mobile since his memorable 2017 Super Bowl spot with Martha Stewart.
