The 2024 John Lewis Christmas ad comes out Thursday, November 14. It was creative agency Saatchi & Saatchi’s second for the retailer, which for years has been looked after by Adam&EveDDB. After a full year of prep this time, the bar is higher than ever.

John Lewis is a leading light in UK Christmas advertising. Its high-profile work over the last decade-and-a-half has often captured both the headlines and the hearts of the British public.

However, after a year like no other, the retailer is up against it to bring festive cheer to a nation ready to celebrate after the last few years of dampened celebrations and economic slowdown.
