This week, Chevrolet reflected on family traditions in its Americana holiday short, ‘The Sanctuary,’ Airbnb roasted the chaos of hotels and Ikea reminded us how one mischievous cat can upend the holidays.

Disney: The Last Verse by Adam&eveDDB

To mark 60 years of It’s a Small World, Disney debuted an emotional short revealing a never-before-heard verse of the iconic song. Featuring archival footage from the 1960s to TikTok clips of today, the campaign honors the Sherman Brothers’ timeless ability to unite generations through music.

Chevrolet: The Sanctuary by Anomaly

Chevrolet’s holiday campaign centers on a young man finding clarity during a drive in his family’s ’78 Chevy truck. A reflective short film steeped in Americana, it explores family, legacy and the journey to embracing your own path, set to Jim Croce’s classic, Time in a Bottle.

Google: Black-Owned Friday by Entropico

Google and US Black Chambers’ fifth annual ‘Black-Owned Friday’ campaign stars comedian Druski, rapper GloRilla and influencer Jayda Cheaves visiting Black-owned businesses. Directed by Rodney Lucas, the initiative encourages consumers to shop Black this holiday season, blending humor and heartfelt storytelling.

Dick’s Sporting Goods: Holiday Decorating Officer by Bolded

Simone Biles, Dak Prescott, Chris Paul and Quinn Ewers bring some Lone Star-sized personality to Dick’s Sporting Goods in a playful competition to decorate stores for the holidays. Featuring a surprise cameo from Matthew McConaughey, the campaign combines festive fun with philanthropy.

Ikea: Ready for the Holidays: Cat by Ingo Hamburg

This playful ad features Leonidas, a mischievous cat who wreaks havoc on holiday decorations. Ikea cleverly highlights how its e-commerce tools make it easy to recover from the chaos, turning relatable holiday mishaps into a lighthearted reminder of the brand’s convenience.

Airbnb: Santastrophe

Santa Claus faces comedic chaos delivering gifts in hotels in Airbnb’s festive animated short. Narrated in the style of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas, the ad cleverly reinforces Airbnb’s message: skip hotels this season for a more seamless holiday experience.

Chanel: Winter Tale

This luxurious holiday spot transports viewers into a snow-globe-inspired wonderland full of Chanel’s signature elegance. Italian model Vittoria Ceretti stars in the whimsical short, which blends meticulous design with playful Easter eggs to capture the magic of the season.

Waitrose: A Waitrose Mystery: Solved by Saatchi & Saatchi

Matthew Macfadyen’s Christmas mystery, Sweet Suspicion, comes to a dramatic close, revealing the pud-pilfering culprit as the family cook, Steve. Packed with humor and interactive polls, this finale caps off a hugely popular series that’s captivated UK audiences.

Save Wild Tigers: Ray the Rug by Monster Sauce & Worth Your While

British actor Ray Winstone voices a tiger-skin rug in a darkly humorous yet sobering monologue about the poaching crisis. The ad serves as a stark call to action, shedding light on the devastating impacts of wildlife trade while urging global conservation efforts.

Clan Campbell: Authenticity by Publicis Conseil

Embracing its Scottish heritage, Clan Campbell’s first global campaign humorously leans into national stereotypes: rain, Highland cows and all. With a deadpan voiceover and vintage black-and-white visuals, the campaign strikes a perfect balance between tradition and cheeky modern appeal.
